I DID IT!!! YEAH! I finished the book! . .. .Escape that is! I don't use the word "hate" but that's the only way to describe how I feel about Barbara. How could someone be sold cold and evil. Wow! OK - here's to Carolyn. Going on a limb here, but she makes the case for any woman out there who wants to play the "victim". I know of so many women who got divorced, lost job. . .etc and became the victim. Carolyn didn't even know what "better" could be, but went for it anyhow, w/o a job! I could go on and on. . . anyhow!
I won't be at book club 7/9. We'll be enroute to VT for our family vaca. BUT August is mine and keep your fingers crossed for nice weather so we can hang out on our new patio! YIIIPPPEEEEE! :) Talk to you soon- Carrie
